Experience

Meta | August - October 2022

Above and Beyond Computer Science Participant

  • Participated in a selective 9-week program on algorithms and data structures led by software engineers at Meta.
  • Attended weekly development workshops to enhance programming fundamentals, engage with industry professionals, and ensure career readiness.

StradVision | June - August 2022

Deep Learning Intern

  • Improved the performance of the Faster R-CNN model by adding a head in Python that predicts the 3D orientation angle of objects from 2D bounding boxes.
  • Examined the accuracy of an existing Faster R-CNN model from open source project MMDetection by training and running inferences on the model using COCO, Pascal VOC, and KITTI datasets.
